In January of 2008 our family had our first Sunday service in the tiny living room of our rental. There were a total of 6 of us that day

What started as a small church plant to reach the Mexican locals here in the Puerto Vallarta area has grown to a food ministry that serves hundreds of free meals each month, a Spanish speaking congregation of about 150 people and a weekly English service for the local ex patriots and visitors in this growing tourist/retirement area.

God has put us on a “fast track” to share the Good News of Jesus Christ in an area of incredible spiritual and physical needs. We are awed by how God is moving in this place and at times overwhelmed by the heart breaking circumstances that many people live in. Jesus came to seek and save the lost.

I believe that what the world is calling a “crisis” is what the church should discern as our “opportunity” to boldly and innovatively share the Gospel of Jesus. I want to invite you to partner with us in what God is doing at La Fuente Riviera. Your prayers, participation and financial support help spread His love around.

Here’s some practical ways you can participate:

1. Come to church! The more the merrier. We strive to keep our service upbeat, fun and easy going yet, at the same time, we preach the Word of God. We have many different people from different denominational backgrounds come. If you’re interested in an atmosphere with an eclectic mix of people from Canada, U.S. and Mexico check us out!

2. Help those less fortunate. We have a variety of ways that you can get involved on a short term or long term basis to help.

A) You can share an afternoon helping us pack bags of groceries for 150 needy families.

B) Help serve a nutritious breakfast on a Saturday morning to hundreds of people.

C) Teach English

D) Sponsor needy children with school supplies, clothes so they can finish their primary education

E) Partner with us financially and invest your resources into something eternal

F) Be part of our building project

G) Whatever gift or talent you can offer to others in music, art, cooking, practical work….WE HAVE A PLACE FOR YOU!
